Mental Health First Aid Training

Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based, 8-hour training that has been shown to increase participants’ knowledge of the signs, symptoms and risk factors of mental illness and addiction; identify multiple types resources; and improve the likelihood of helping someone in distress. This training is available for anyone in the community 18+, and is completely free.

Speaker’s Bureau

Is your civic, service or Church group interested in learning about a local mental health or substance abuse issue? Whether your members are focused on senior issues or children’s issues, most requests can be accommodated. Call on the WYGC Foundation and its Speaker’s Bureau to provide an engaging and informative speaker on a wide range of topics.
